TORONTO, Ont. — Alfa Romeo is joining the roster of automotive brands being represented at the 2024 Canadian International AutoShow, in collaboration with the Alfa Romeo GTA dealers (Alfa Romeo of Oakville, Maranello Alfa Romeo and Alfa Romeo of Toronto), and will debut the All New 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-In Hybrid.

With a three-car display, Alfa Romeo, to be showcased in the Auto Exotica Luxury Boutique on the 100 level of the North Building in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, will join Maserati, Lotus, BMW and Rivian alongside the luxury cars, super cars and hyper cars displayed by Autostrada, Barrett-Jackson, Ultimate Exotics and Cobble Beach Classics in one of the most popular exhibits at the AutoShow.

The Alfa Romeo vehicles that will be on display include:

  • Alfa Romeo Tonale PHEV – After a successful debut of the gasoline-powered Tonale at the 2023 Canadian International Auto Show, the Tonale PHEV makes its Canadian auto show debut in Toronto. A plug-in hybrid PHEV, the Tonale is the model that marks Alfa Romeo’s metamorphosis — it remains true to the DNA of noble Italian sportsmanship since 1910, but is part of a radical evolution that looks ahead to a new era of electrification and connectivity. The Tonale features an unmistakable Italian design, extraordinarily faithful to the concept from which it draws its origins with a host of innovative, customer-focused features. State-of-the-art, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) electric vehicle technology, unique and exclusive technical solutions, created by Alfa Romeo to enhance Tonale’s performance. The six-speed automatic transmission combines a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery with a 90-kW e-motor and 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine to deliver best-in-class 285 horsepower, 347 lb.-ft. of torque and an electric range of more than 50 kilometers.
  • Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce — With its alluring styling, sharp moves and a turbo four-cylinder engine that punches above its weight, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce is proving popular with SUV shoppers. Under the hood, the Stelvio packs a powerful punch with Alfa Romeo’s engine 2.0-litre, direct-injection turbocharged engine delivering 280 horsepower and 306 lb.-ft. of torque. Alfa Romeo has included their Alfa Active Suspension technology to ensure superior handling — this combination of power and performance guarantees that the Stelvio SUV delivers an exceptional driving experience. Q4 All-wheel drive allows for superb command and control. By leveraging Active Transfer Case technology, this system delivers a surge of power and torque in just 0.15 seconds to help maximize handling when traction loss is detected.
  • Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio — The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio embodies all the quintessential aspects of a thrilling sports sedan. Beneath the hood lies an exhilarating Italian-crafted 2.9L All-Aluminum Bi-Turbo 24-Valve which produces an astounding 505 horsepower. The Giulia Quadrifoglio was the fastest four-door production vehicle to take on the challenging Nürburgring track, achieving a lap time of 7:32. Capturing the race-winning spirit of Alfa Romeo, the Giulia Quadrifoglio offers a dynamic suspension setup that balances precision handling with on-road comfort at all speeds. The 2024 model year receives updated LED headlights and taillights along with a new 12.3-inch digital instrument display inside the cabin. The Giulia Quadrifoglio incorporates a front-mounted, all-aluminum Twin-Turbo V6 engine and rear-wheel drive system to create a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution with optimal balance.
