TORONTO, Ont.

Kia will host a full roster of cars and SUVs at the 2024 Canadian International AutoShow, including the refreshed 2025 Kia Carnival with all-new hybrid powertrain, to be seen in Canada for the first time.

The brand is excited to announce product enhancements that continue to push the boundary of expectations within this segment, enabling its utility and purpose even further. This refreshed model strikes the balance of utility, purpose, and modern luxury, and with no detail overlooked, it will now be available with a hybrid powertrain.

Kia will also have several opportunities at the AutoShow to engage with its newest EV, the EV9. This vehicle pioneers the mass market segment as the first all-electric three-row SUV, and serves as the flagship of the company’s global Plan S strategy pointing to the future of Kia’s electrified lineup. It offers generous interior volume and cargo space, towing capability, leading vehicle dynamics, rich interior appointments and fast-charging capability. The EV9’s standard 800V electrical architecture enables ultrafast recharging on high-speed DC chargers, designed to go from a 10 to 80 per cent state of charge in less than 25 minutes.

Electrification and movement are two themes AutoShow patrons will experience at the Kia exhibit, with interactive and educational elements that include:

  • Art of Movement– Create digital art, captured by body movements.
  • EV Education Zone– Attendees can choose their journey by plugging-in to an EV charger to experience one of Kia’s three electric journeys: sustainability, family of green vehicles or choose how you charge. A portion of this zone is powered by a Kia EV6 using its impressive Vehicle-to-Load functionality that uses the power of the main battery.
  • EV9 Information Session– Every hour, a demonstration of Kia EV9’s dynamic styling, effortless performance, outstanding convenience features and the latest in technology will be presented by a specialist.
  • Kia Niro Contest– Enter for a chance to win a 2024 Kia Niro of your choice.
  • Test Drives — Visit the indoor EV Test Track (800 Level of the South Building) to experience the agile Kia EV6 and technologically advanced Kia EV9. The EV9 will also be available for test drives in the outdoor test drive area (800 level, loading dock area behind the indoor EV Test Track).

The Kia display will be found on the 300 level of the North Building in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
